Dang Brother Pizza Camp Pendleton is located on the Marine Corps Base on Camp Pendleton, California. The business was originally started by two childhood friends, who bought a 1974 American La France fire truck in Iowa and converted the back portion to a wood-burning pizza stove. They named their first yellow fire truck, Larabelle. A short time later they bought a second truck that now operates on the opposite end of campus.
Owner and former Marine, David Ricardo runs the business single-handedly, which proudly serves the men and women on the base along with the civilians. Many of the menu items feature New York style cuisine along with a fun Marine Corps theme.
In 2013, Dang Brother Pizza Camp Pendleton obtained a food contract to operate as a food stand on Camp Pendleton. Afterwards, the pizza truck expanded their menu and started serving breakfast and steak sandwiches onsite.
